It doesn't feel right that I won't be winked at by you when I make a joke.

It doesn't feel right that I won't hear, "You're beautiful!" , before I have showered.

It doesn't feel right that I'm not buying a case of Coke almost weekly.

It doesn't feel right that I am not taking you to meetings with teachers this year.

It doesn't feel right that I won't be tucking you in and kissing you goodnight..

It doesn't feel right that I won't have your hand to hold during baseball games.

It doesn't feel right that we won't laugh at something little that amused us.

It doesn't feel right that you won't be telling me what great kids I have all the time.

It doesn't feel right that we won't be singing Tony Bennett tunes constantly.

It doesn't feel right that you won't be here to give us your pearls of wisdom.

It doesn't feel right that you won't be asking to have my dinner instead of yours.

It doesn't feel right that you won't be hugging me and telling me, "I'll make you happy.".

Nothing feels right today.
